Many people ask us if it is worth re-upholstering a sofa or a chair or if it is simply cheaper to buy new. Our view is that if you like the furniture, you find it comfortable; it has a sound frame and was of good quality when you bought it, then yes, it is always worth doing. Springs can always be repaired, arms re-padded and seat cushions replaced if they have flattened – with the result that the piece will look like new afterwards.
You will also have far greater choice in fabrics then if you were to buy new from the high street (or retail park!)
Below is a small selection of completed projects. You name it, we can upholster it. From French Louis style chairs and art deco sofas to modern sofas, we are here to help.
Restoring antique traditional upholstery is a specialist service we are happy to offer.
